1/7/21 - This is a super rare and early Nazi FN Browning High Power rig with tangent sight and slotted frame.. It is hard to estimate exact production totals for this variation as they were completed from a mixture of available parts without serial number continuity, but the total ranges span only about 3,000 digits. This example falls into the 'sub-variant 2' category without pre-invasion Liege proofs on the slide and frame. It has all matching serials with no Liege proofs on the barrel. The slot in frame is factory original and the grips have the prewar red paint on the back. The finish is original but shows some thinning throughout, most noticeable on the front strap and right side of slide. There's also several areas of minor freckling. Bore is mostly clean with good rifling, just a little frost throughout. Grips are in good shape with some smoothing on the right panel. One magazine is WaA613 proofed, same as the pistol. The spare is unmarked. The rig is completed by a rare Estonian holster that was modified by the Germans.
